GDC held a fruitful meeting with the Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA). KEPSA is the national apex body of the private sector in Kenya comprising of Business Membership Organizations and Corporate Organizations.
KEPSA’s strategic focus is mainly in three areas: Conducting high-level advocacy on cross-cutting law and policy-related issues, and ensuring Kenya is globally competitive in doing business: Coordinating the private sector in Kenya through various mechanisms and to engage in advocacy that promotes economic growth and developing and capacity building of Business Membership Organizations (BMOs) to strengthen, grow and represent their sectors adequately.
KEPSA members from the Energy, Manufacturing and Agriculture sectors attended the meeting. GDC made a presentation about the organization and on matters relating to utilization of geothermal resources in manufacturing and food security.
