Well siting is the process of identifying a suitable location for drilling a well, in this case, a geothermal well. Once geoscientific investigations have been conducted, a suitability model is prepared to target the most suitable location. A suitability model overlays all relevant data with different weighted averages depending on the most critical data and projects the area that is likely to have the greatest/highest potential.
