Well pad

A well pad is a level ground where the rig and auxiliary equipment are set for the purposes of drilling. It may have a recirculation pond which is used to contain water (brine) from the drilled hole and will be reused while drilling. A well pad also contains a cellar on which the hole/well is drilled.
