GDC officials led by Senior Principal Geoscientist Dr. Anthony Wamalwa (R) and an Ascension Earth Resources Limited (AER) delegation headed by Chief Executive Officer Mr. Motoaki Sumi (2 L) held technical discussions in Nakuru on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, to review progress under the Collaborative Research Agreement between the two organisations.
The meeting focused on geological analysis of the Kabarak and Menengai prospects as the partners advance joint exploration of mineral resources within GDC’s operational areas and assess new opportunities beyond geothermal power generation. Also present was Mr. Richlove Mensah (Left), Director of Trade for East Africa at the British High Commission.
