What inspired you to work in the geothermal energy sector, and how do you see your role contributing to a sustainable future?
I got in the field because I was interested. Being a geologist, our work is to uncover the secrets that are deep within the earth. Geothermal intrigued me as it is a source of energy that could be used to generate electricity.
To live sustainably on earth we have to take care of it. We currently have issues such as rising temp due to global warming and one way to combat this is by using green energy such as geothermal energy. My role is to try and ensure that future generations have a green earth they can experience.
