GDC in collaboration with UNIDO-Italy, Ministry of Energy (MOE), Geothermal Association of Kenya (GAK) and KenGen will host a three-day Business Investment Forum on Geothermal to be held from March 27-30, 2023.
The Forum will begin with a one-day business and investment engagement on March 27, 2023, at the KAWI Complex auditorium, Nairobi, South C.
The engagement is aimed at fostering international partnerships between companies/ institutions in the energy and environment sectors in Kenya and Italy.
The forum is sponsored by the Italian Ministry of Environment and Energy Security (MASE) and organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy and its SAGA’s in the geothermal sector (GDC and KenGen), Geothermal Association of Kenya and Unione Geotermica Italiana (UGI).
During the inaugural opening of the event on the first day, GDC’s Ag. MD & CEO Mr. Paul Ngugi will make a technical presentation on the Company’s role in the development of geothermal resources as well as take part in the B2B networking session with the Italian investors.
In addition, GDC will host the Italian delegation at the Menengai Geothermal Project on March 28, 2023, in a bid to showcase its projects, milestones and investment opportunities.
The delegation will also visit Olkaria, Akira and Oserian projects in Naivasha on March 29 and 30 2023.
