Heat exchanger

A heat exchanger is a system that allows the transfer of heat from one fluid to another. At the Menengai Direct Use Demonstration Project, heat is transferred from hot geothermal fluids to fresh cold water contained in a coil tube heat exchanger.

The resulting hot water is used in various Direct Use applications such as greenhouse heating, milk pasteurization, and drying of agricultural crops
