Who inspired me to pursue a career in science?
My parents who are both in the scientific field; my dad as a Pharmacist and my mom as a Nurse. This drew me into the world of science.
What advice do I have for young women considering a career in STEM fields?
Embrace your curiosity and uniqueness with determination. Surround yourself with mentors and other professionals to support you, uplift you and guide you as you grow and be willing to always seek to research because STEM-ers never stop learning. You are not in this STEM journey alone. And most importantly, prioritise self-care (remember to prioritise your physical and mental well-being).
