The Geothermal Development Company (GDC) Institution of Engineers of Kenya Engineers (IEK) South Rift region fraternity, in partnership with other stakeholders, presented Christmas gifts to New Life Home Trust in Nakuru County on Monday 21st December 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

South Rift IEK branch Chair Eng. Michael Kamau expressed the team’s commitment to supporting the surrounding community in liaison with like minded partners. “Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, we agreed, as Engineers in GDC, to assist our neighbors who are in need of help,” said Eng. Kamau. “We started this project in March this year and we hope to continue assisting the less fortunate within the region he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the same note, IEK 2nd vice-Chair Eng. Dominic Mutai noted that it is a season of giving and as such is important to share with the less fortunate members of society around us. “As much as it has been a tough year especially during this time of COVID- 19, we felt we should come together as GDC Engineers to share what we have. We have been doing this since the pandemic outbreak,” remarked Eng. Mutai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IEK members to come together to help the less fortunate. The team also thanked the Engineers Fraternity Kenya for choosing to partner with IEK South Rift Branch to help the needy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
