My name is Richard Ong’ayo; a Senior Driver at GDC<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What steps do you take to protect yourself and others from COVID-19 at work?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I wear a face mask all the time and I always remind my passengers to wear theirs as well. This helps us protect each other from COVID-19 infection. I either wash my hands often or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer to clean them. I have a sanitizer in the car that my passengers can use as well. I also adhere to social distance guidelines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What are the preventive measures you are taking to protect your work area from COVID-19?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a driver, I am very keen on ensuring the cleanliness of surfaces that my passengers and I frequently touch. I often sanitize the interior of the vehicle paying keen attention to the steering wheel, the gear stick and the door handles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I only carry two passengers in my vehicle in accordance with COVID -19 social distancing guidelines provided by the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization. Before the pandemic, I carried three to four passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What message do you have to your colleagues regarding COVID-19?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is important to follow the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization guidelines in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The guidelines are for our own good.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
