KEPSA is the national apex body of the private sector in Kenya comprising of Business Membership Organizations and Corporate Organizations.<\/p>\n<p>KEPSA&rsquo;s strategic focus is mainly in three areas: Conducting high-level advocacy on cross-cutting law and policy-related issues, and ensuring Kenya is globally competitive in doing business: Coordinating the private sector in Kenya through various mechanisms and to engage in advocacy that promotes economic growth and developing and capacity building of Business Membership Organizations (BMOs) to strengthen, grow and represent their sectors adequately.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-413 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.gdc.co.ke\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/cropeed-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"730\" height=\"548\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.gdc.co.ke\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/cropeed-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.gdc.co.ke\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/cropeed-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.gdc.co.ke\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/cropeed-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 730px) 100vw, 730px\"\/><\/p>\n<p>KEPSA members from the Energy, Manufacturing and Agriculture sectors attended the meeting. GDC made a presentation about the organization and on matters relating to utilization of <a class=\"glossaryLink\" aria-describedby=\"tt\" data-cmtooltip=\"&lt;div class=glossaryItemTitle&gt;Geothermal Resources&lt;\/div&gt;&lt;div class=glossaryItemBody&gt;&amp;lt;!-- wp:paragraph --&amp;gt;Geothermal resources are reservoirs of hot fluids that exist at varying temperatures and depths below the Earth&amp;#039;s surface.&amp;lt;br\/&amp;gt;&amp;lt;!-- \/wp:paragraph --&amp;gt;&amp;lt;!-- wp:paragraph --&amp;gt;They range from the shallow ground to hot water fluids found hundreds of meters beneath the Earth&amp;#039;s surface.&amp;lt;br\/&amp;gt;&amp;lt;!-- \/wp:paragraph --&amp;gt;&lt;\/div&gt;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.gdc.co.ke\/blog\/glossary\/geothermal-resources\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-gt-translate-attributes='[{\"attribute\":\"data-cmtooltip\", \"format\":\"html\"}]' tabindex=\"0\" role=\"link\">geothermal resources<\/a> in manufacturing and food security.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; GDC held a fruitful meeting with the Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA).
