GDC top management recently held an ISO Management Review Meeting as required under the ISO 9001:2008 certification.The meeting was preceded by a one-day intensive training session was facilitated by the Kenya Bureau of Standards which is preparing GDC to transition from ISO 9001:2008 to ISO 9001:2015.
Top management in ISO certified companies are required to review the organization’s quality management system at planned intervals to ensure its continuing suitability, adequacy and effectiveness.
The current exercise includes assessing opportunities for improvement and the need for changes to the quality policy and quality objectives. ISO is a Quality Management system that requires continuous improvement.
