The drilling line spooling machine is a special equipment that is used for taking up and expanding the drilling line wire rope that is reeved into the draw works. It acts as a storage for unused drilling line wire rope which is used for slip-and-cut programs during drilling.
The drilling line spooling matching prevents the drilling line wire rope from wrapping and distorting. By doing so, it acts as protection from the drilling line wire rope.
