GDC hosted the UNU training whose target was those working in geothermal related departments in the respective member countries. The annual three week training is a precursor to a six month advance diploma in geothermal technology at the UNU-GPT in Iceland. |

GDC had its debut at the Public Service Week in 2009. Scores of curious Kenyans thronged our tent to understand what GDC is. At the stand, they met our knowledgeable engineers, who took them through what we have been mandated to do, and how we will contribute to solve the energy crisis in Kenya. |

GDC participated in the annual Nairobi trade fair in 2009. The organization showcased itself to the President who was ushered into the GDC stand by our MD Dr. Silas Simiyu. The MD elaborated the process of geothermal exploration to the head of state.
