GDC scientists honoured at GRC conference
Tuesday,January 16, 2018-Four GDC staff have been recognized by a leading geothermal body for their exemplary presentation of key software used in geothermal exploration.
GDC’s Geoffrey Mibei, Joseph Mutua, Emily Kahiga and Tito Lepoyok were recognized by the Geothermal Resources Council (GRC) for the giving the best presentation in terms of quality and content development. The team made a presentation titled ‘Leapfrog Software in Geothermal Conceptual Modelling; Case Study of Menengai Geothermal Field’.
Leapfrog Geothermal is a workflow-based 3D geological modelling tool which interfaces with industry leading reservoir engineering and geophysical software for rapid interpretation of geothermal reservoirs.
