GDC FC top league after beating Kihoto

Monday, October 2, 2017-GDC FC ascended to the top of the Central Rift FKF league after beating Kihoto FC from Naivasha 3-0 at the Nakuru ASK grounds yesterday.

Captain Edwin Wenani netted the opener in the 20th minute as GDC FC took the lead going to the breather.

In the second half GDC dominated the game firing from all cylinders with hot shot Moses Juma grabbing a brace to safely secure the win for the team.

The Central Rift regional league has 17 teams from Naivasha, Nakuru, Kuresoi, Molo and Kericho. GDC FC has a had good run this season. Last week they beat Riverside FC from Molo 2-0.

Should they maintain the lead they will earn an automatic promotion to the Sportpesa National Super League (NSL) next season.

The team that comprises of GDC staff and friends of GDC this year was officially sponsored by the company.

Next weekend the team will be looking forward to maintain their good form when they play an away match in Naivasha.
