GDC recently carried out training on procurement to special groups including youth, women and persons living with disabilities (PWDs). The training, which was facilitated by the company’s Supply Chain Department, was held in our Nairobi, Naivasha and Nakuru regions.
Speaking during the workshop’s Nairobi session, GDC MD & CEO Eng. Johnson P. Ole Nchoe said that through the supply chain process, GDC will play a critical role in ensuring the sustainability and success of the Big Four agendas, which include manufacturing, affordable housing, health and food security. He added that electricity has been identified as a key enabler of these pillars.
The MD & CEO further urged the suppliers to provide quality goods and services to ensure growth and development while promising them that GDC will ensure timely payments.
The interactive conference gave the suppliers an opportunity to engage with GDC supply chain experts.
