Consultants from West Jec (West Japan Engineering Consultants) have confirmed that GDC has enough steam for the set up of 105MW power plants in Menengai. In a meeting held at the Ministry of Energy office at Nyayo house, the team reported their findings, further paving way for the set up of the Menengai power plants by independent power producers.
The meeting was attended by the Energy Cabinet Secretary Hon. Charles Keter, PS Dr. Eng Joseph Njoroge, CAS and PS Renewable Energy Prof. Colleta Suda, GDC MD & CEO Eng. Johnson P. Ole Nchoe as well as GDC Senior managers.
